On Sunday April 14 several students from the Westside and Eastside Harmony Road music schools were invited to participate in the festivities celebrating Packy’s Birthday. Students & parents sang “Packy’s Parade” on the Zoo stage. The composer, Jan Keyser, wrote a special second verse to commemorate Packy’s Birthday. Ms. Keyser, the creator of the Harmony Road Music course, was on hand for the festivities. The students then proceeded to the elephant area to sing “Happy Birthday” to the famous elephant. Westside Music School students participating included Katherine Andrews, Shreeya Bukka, Marina Case, Andrew Hough, Hannah Langer, Hayley Meshkin, Meiling Miller, Deekshan Saravanan, and Jack Syverson, along with their parents and teachers Aron Bernstein and Claudia Reinsch.

From the Chorus

"So many people have asked me what the secret is to having Julianna continue to enjoy playing the piano. Honestly, I can’t take the credit as her Mom, and I can’t say that she was born with a skill or passion for playing. The secret is the sense of community that she shares once a week with her teacher and her piano peers at Westside Music School."
